Chamunda Matrika

Goddess Parvati honored Goddess Kali with the title “Chamunda” during war with Chanda and Munda, the ferocious monsters. Chamunda Matrika is the consort of Bheeshana Bhairava, the firece form of Lord Shiva.

Bheeshana Bhairava

Bheeshana Bhairava is seventh among Ashta Bhairavas and the consort of Chamunda Mtarika. Traditionally, it is recommended to worship Bheeshana Bhairava first in order to receive the full benevolence of Chamunda Matrika, as their combined blessings amplify the positive outcomes.
